The Best Time To Buy…

I am here today to tell you the best times to buy certain things to get the most bang for your buck. Lets get started…these are life guide lines!!! The best time to buy…

  • Electonics– Spring time for the best deals on digital cameras and camcorders; April & July for DVD players; January, July, November, and December.
  • Appliances– Holiday weekends ie: fourth of July, Labor day, Columbus day, and President’s day
  • New Cars– Weekday mornings in September, by September all the next year models have hit the sales lot and the dealers are desperate to make room for the new years models.
  • Airplane Tickets– On Wednesday about 21 days (or a couple days earlier) before your flight because airlines start scrambling to fill available seats on the flight.
  • Broadway Tickets– Hours before the curtain rises, many places offer ticket lotteries where you can get AMAZING seats for $25.00! Rather not gamble? Stand outside the famous ticket booth TKTS for up to 50% off the regular rates!
  • Gas– Early mornings or late evenings on a weekday. Gas stations tend to change their prices between 10am and noon, so get there early! Try not to buy gas on the weekend as gas prices tend to rise to catch the leisurely traveler 😉
  • Wedding Dresses– Between Thanksgiving and Christmas! Boutiques stock up on dresses at this time of year due to the simple fact that a good portion of people get engaged over the holidays. You will have a better selection of gowns if you shop during this time and better room for bargaining as sales are slow.

Take this in to consideration when shopping for ANY of these items and as always Happy Shopping 🙂
