Price VS Quality
November 7th 2007
I am doing a section of my blog on shopping, where I will tell you what the best deals are on a variety of products (if there are any request for specific items or products let me know) and price vs quality of the product-basically is it worth it?
Today’s piece will be on Jeans. I find the ones that are more pricey to have a longer life through wear and tear. My pricier favorites are: (note: these all have cuts that are flattering to “REAL” women, not size 0)
- Seven for all mankind-they cut them in such a way you actually appear to have a better rear view!
- Joe’s Jeans-they are made in a variety flattering washes and are extremely comfortable
- Paige and Denim-they are cut to flatter natural curves of real women
- Citizens of Humanity-they make cuts for voluptuous women like Sara Ramirez
- Rock & Republic-they make their jeans for women but with a slender cut
These designer Jeans also offer a “no gap back”, they are cut higher in the back to stop that underwear peep show everyone gets when you sit down.
The jeans that offer the most life, style, and comfort and that are a bit cheaper in price are: (note: these jeans tend not to offer any “special” effects or cuts that “enhance”)
- Express Jeans-they come in a variety of cuts and styles so you can find the best one for you
- Aeropostal-these jeans tend to be cut perfectly for pear shaped women
- American Eagle Outfitters-they hold their life and fit comfortably
- Banana Republic Jeans-they come in many different styles and hold up their end of the bargin
- DKNY jeans-with these you need to find you perfect fit, then they offer comfort and style
These are the jeans that I find withstand the length of time, wear and tear, and just fit too darn good. Note that you will have to find a perfect fit that suits you, but these brands, I assure you, have one that fits and flatters your body. The designer jeans are obviously better in quality and fit great, however, they come with a “designer” price tag, but they are worth a try on to see what I am talking about.

Hello, a friend just informed me of two other great quality brand of jeans that she describes as “dressier” jeans and “so comfortable I could live in them!” jeans. The brands she is describing are William Rast Jeans and Paige jeans. She also describes the William Rast Jeans as nice business casual jeans and says they come in numerous styles and washes. You can find both of these brands at any Nordstrom store, or http://www.Nordstom.com
