Ladies and gents, yes it is true, summer is approaching fast and now you are starting to worry about shedding your winter “coat”. Well according to a study done recently by Shape Magazine says the single best exercise to get results was squatting with a fitness ball or a hand weight is the best way to firm ALL over and here is why:
Your working your legs and your butt by just doing the squat itself, but not letting your knees go out over your toes is the real challenge. Doing this takes hard work so in turn you hold in and tighten your abs for stability while leaning slightly forward which engages your back muscles. Add a fitness ball or a hand weight and hold it to your chest or extend it out and your targeting your mid and upper back muscles as well and your arms and shoulders…just like that you have engaged all your major muscle groups…it IS that easy
